NEWS **Please Read**
Wow! A lot has been going on at Universal in the past few months, and due to various computer crashes and server problems we've been unable to update our site. We now have limited text editing only. What I can tell you now is that we are working on a new site and hope to have it ready soon.
OUR WATERFORD LOCATION is closed as of Oct. 1st. This was a difficult decision as this store has been in existence for almost 50 years. All operations have been consolidated into our main store in Royal Oak, inside Haberman Fabrics. We will, of course, be honoring all warrantees, lessons and any other needs of our customers there. FLOOR MODEL SALE - There are still a number of GREAT deals on floor model machines from the Waterford store. These have been checked over by a serviceman, and every part and accessory re-packed in the original box. They have full warrantees and come with lessons, same as new. Many top-end Bernina, Janome, and Brother machines are still available, but they won't last long!

The 1200D provides all the tools you need to create great ready-to-wear garments. It is three machines in one: an Overlock, Cover Hem, and Top Cover Hem. It is versatile, incorporating many flatlock, blanket and overlock stitches, as well as the chain and coverstitch. You won't need to change the needle plate or foot for a rolled hem, and the upper looper system is easily converted for a cover hem or top cover hem. The 1200D automatically selects the tension settings for each stitch so you can sew with comfort and confidence. You'll also find 28 optional feet and attachments. With all this, you are only limited by your imagination.
